Bold Color

When I first saw this dress, my thought was "Wow, this is so chic and casual and I will be wearing this on my vacation." And I already imagined which scarf I'm gonna be throwing-in with it. It was so cheap, and I don't think I could find any other cheaper dress like this in the entire mall.

Hari Senin lalu, saya sama bubuhan saya mampir ke Plasa Kebun Sayur, udah tau tanggal tuha malah mampir ke Bunsay. Dijamin de ngiler aja ngeliatin baju-baju tapi gak berani nawar. Paling cuma nanya-nanya harga abis itu pergi sambil senyum-senyum kecut ke penjualnya hehehe. Tapi pas ketemu ama baju yang ini entah kenapa saya iseng nawar. Dari harga 170ribu saya tawar 70ribu, ya gak dikasi, mungkin dipikir penjualnya pagi-pagi ada orang ngajak berantem kali ya hahaha. Penjualnya ngotot gak bisa di bawah 100ribu. Terus Mama Fio bilang, udah 80ribu kita ambil, kalo gak boleh ya gak papa. Eh, sekalinya dikasi sama penjualnya sambil bilang "ya udah gak papa buat pelaris baru buka". Padahal saya juga gak lagi niat mau beli, tapi karena emang naksir dari awal ya uda saya ambil aja walaupun lagi radang lekukan dompet akut hehehe..

mild color

This three-quarter pale pink top is the loveliest color I'm sure to love. I combined with sky blue head scarf. Pale pink and light blue are color for babies. I dressed it up with a dark purple belt to make it less mild. While the whole outfit is mild, this belt is absolutely bold. xo

bright dark-blue maxi dress

Dress ini didominasi warna oranye, dan membuat saya over-bright. Jilbab biru tua senada dengan dressnya really matched my skin dan membuat saya gak over-bright lagi. Yeah, I just know that darker color looks greater for my skin. xo

way to wear bat sleeve

I'm certainly not a fashionable person, and I don't know much about combination for clothing. I actually like variety of style, but I'm afraid if I wore something different, people would think I'm not myself. Yesterday I tried to style bat sleeve shirt with my old long skirt and I'm not sure if this style suits me or don't. This shirt is so comfortable and easy to wear. I combined with my old head scarf, and my friends loved it! Does it mean, this style suits me? Thanks Mama Olla for photographing yesterday.

Yellow and purple are not actually my favorite color. But, this yellow/purple boatneck top really drove me crazy. I love these colors combined, purple makes it less look like traffic stopper. Beautiful color combination, that is all! :)

I'm in love with this braided belt, and wear it together with the top is not a bad idea :)

Do I look good in this denim dress?? I already have one maxi denim dress before, but it looked more formal. But this new "second" one, looks more casual and simple, I love its mid-thigh length, more easily to mix and matched with leggings and other clothes and colors, and for all kinds of occasions.

my favorite hijab so far..

Jilbab saya yang satu ini, awalnya saya beli untuk gamis yang ungu. Tapi ternyata warna dan motifnya yang abstrak, justru bikin jilbab ini ngepas buat beberapa baju polos saya yang lain. Dan, kalau saya lagi males pake jilbab yang ribet2, jilbab ini juga pas untuk effortless hijab style saya yang lain, diikat aja, gak usah dikait pakai peniti atau jarum pentul. I love this hijab so much.. :D

the new little one

hari ini kami datang ke acara aqiqah babygirl-nya mama inayah.. sebenarnya udah seminggu yang lalu mama inayah melahirkan putri ke duanya ini.. tapi dengan beberapa pertimbangan, we decided not to visit her and her new baby right after she gave birth in hospital.. dan alhamdulillah gak harus nunggu terlalu lama, kami bisa nengokin si kecil hari ini..

saya pengen nggendong juga, tapi takut, tangan rasanya udah kaku.. hahaha

we always love foods, apalagi gretongan hahaha..

1, ketan hitam putih, ini ciri khas masakan Bugis, ketan sebagai pengganti nasi, dimakannya pake lauk pauk.. kalo orang Jawa dan Banjar, ketan cenderung untuk jajanan atau wadai, kalo pun gak dibikin kue, biasanya makannya pake kelapa atau kalo di Jawa pake bubuk kedelai.. nyam.. :)

tunik ungu ini, udah agak lama teronggok di lemari, gak saya pake2, soalnya saya ngerasa warna dan modelnya bakal bikin saya keliatan lebih tua lagi *drama*.. mix and match aja.. so, voila, I think legging and high heels make it looks less mature, don't you think?? :D

selamat hari senin.. tadinya hari minggu ini akan jadi hari staying at home all day long.. karena tadi malam kami udah jalan, dan saya cuma mau ngumpulin tenaga untuk besok.. tapi suami saya ngajakin ke hypermart.. ya udah de sekalian saya nyari baju warna putih untuk hari sabtu latihan manasik haji Alif.. udah gitu di depan hypermart ada stand arum manis Rainbow, ngantrinya, masyaAllah banget de.. saya hampir satu jam berdiri, nunggu pesenan..

tadinya saya sempet bingung nyari jilbab warna putih, lupa kalo udah punya jilbab putih gifted from my mom di malang.. :)

yang sering ke Pecel Famili II di Karang Jati, mungkin udah eneg liat saya pake baju ini.. kaos pink belel ini, saya beli di Malang tahun 2007, dan udah bolong2 di bagian bawahnya hahaha, tapi karena enak dipake dan saya masih suka make, ya saya pake terus.. kalo lagi malas pake baju yang ribet2, baju ini pas banget buat hari malas to dress up, plus biasanya saya jilbab instan.. bener2 effortless de.. :)

what I wore today: Being Formal

hari ini ada pengajian rutin komite sekolah, I was asked to be the mc, walaupun pengajiannya gak terlalu formal, tapi I decide to wear formal outfit for this special occasion.. and Mondays are always busy, in a hurry, and it's like that 2 hours is not enough for me to get ready, so I throw whatever hijab I found on, and alhamdulillah, it look good with my red square blouse.. :)

I wasn't to match this, but I think it's matchy.. xo

today was the first day of school for Alif after the long Ramadhan and Idul Fitri holiday.. and I'm always so lazy to start everything.. but I just had to wake up earlier, got my home works done, prepared the breakfast, seeing everything clean made feel more excited.. and then getting myself ready to start the day.. so sorry to my hubby to be late for work because he ride us to Alif's school first.. and today I wore something special to be more cheerful..
